Minimum booking is for 2 nights. Arrival time 3pm and checkout time is 10.30am unless otherwise agreed.

Your Safety on Our Farm

This is a working farm and horse training yard. There is occasional training in the horse arena which can be heard from the shepherds hut, these sessions are usually 20-30 minutes long. There are clearly marked areas which are not permitted to be entered into at any time within the horse area for your own and others safety. Please be vigilant of horse boxes manoeuvring, tractors with trailers, animals, horses.

Beechwood Boutique Shepherds Huts Hot Tub Disclaimer/Instructions

The hot tub is your own personal hot tub for the duration of your stay.

The hot tub is cleaned for every new guest and ready for you to fill with fresh water if you wish to use it.

We want you to enjoy the hot tub and for your safety it is important to follow the advice and guidelines given below.

Please note, the lead guest is responsible for making sure that all members of your party are aware and strictly adhere to these guidelines.

Please be aware hot tubs can be a dangerous environment, it is a good idea to keep hydrated by drinking water.

Operation

• Firstly, fill the hot tub with water.
• Please use the hose located on the end of the shepherd’s hut.
• Fill approximately 150mm above the top outlet pipe.

Wood burner

Open the door of the wood burner, place one small fire lighter block on the grate. Place one bundle of kindling in the wood burner, cross the sticks over each other. Load the wood burner two-thirds full with logs/firewood provided again crossing the firewood over each other.

Please wear the fire glove provided

Light the fire with the lighter provided, close the door and make sure the vents on the door are open.
When the fire is alight add some more firewood (this should be enough to bring the hot tub up to 40 degrees. The water takes approximately 90 minutes to heat up.

Please be aware when around the wood burner that it is hot to touch!

The ideal temperature for the water is 40 degrees, as the hot tub is warming up stir the water with the paddle supplied.
If the water is too hot drain some water by opening the valve located behind the wood burner and add cold water.

Please do not use glass in the hot tub we provide plastic cups in the hut.
Test the water with your hand before entering to make sure it is a comfortable temperature.
Take your time getting in Do Not jump in.

It is important to take regular breaks from the water, we recommend every fifteen minutes. Stay hydrated.

Your use of the Hot Tub

Beechwood Holidays takes no responsibility for any accident, injury or health issues resulting from use of the hot tub.

Hot tub cleanliness is paramount, guest must shower and use the toilet before entering the hot tub.
Please note fake tan will stain the hot tub.
Do not use any soaps or detergents of any type in the hot tub.

Consuming alcohol or taking medication before or during your use of the hot tub is NOT advised.

People on medication should always consult their doctor before using the hot tub.
People with infectious diseases should not use the hot tub.
People who are pregnant, clinically obese, have heart conditions, blood pressure or circulatory problems, skin conditions or diabetes should always consult their doctor before using the hot tub.
Do not use the hot tub immediately after strenuous exercise.
Do not allow any pets in the hot tub.
Do not allow anyone to sleep in the hot tub.

Be aware that surfaces in and around the hot tub may be slippery with water or ice.

Risk to children

Please exercise extreme caution when children are present at Beechwood Holidays.
No children under five are permitted in the hot tub.
All children under 16 must be supervised at all times.
